HOW IS MICROBLADING DONE?
Microblading is done using a very fine blade to deposit pigments into the epidermis. These pigments deposit strokes of color to the top of the skins surface which appear and remain crisp and extremely fine. It’s ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows. The results are natural looking, hair-like strokes, regardless of the amount of hair present.
HOW LONG DOES MICROBLADING LAST?
It typically lasts 9 months to 1 year with or without touch-ups but may last up to 3 years.
HOW LONG DOES PROCEDURE TAKE?
The procedure lasts anywhere from 20-45 minutes however you should plan on being there for up to two hours for paper work, consultation, etc.
DOES MICROBLADING/OMBRE PROCEDURE HURT?
Since it is a form of tattooing, pain should be expected however we use a numbing cream to help with the discomfort.
HOW LONG IS RECOVERY?
Clients can walk out the door and go back to their normal routines right after the procedure but will need to follow after-care instructions for proper healing. Once completely healed, I advise applying a layer of sunscreen SPF 30 up to SPF 50 on your eyebrows when exposed to the sun. Sun exposure might cause the color pigment to fade away more quickly.
HOW WILL IT LOOK WHEN HEALED?
Healed results can differ with each individual client and filling in eyebrows may still be needed, especially to achieve a dramatic appearance or under makeup. There are many factors that affect the healing process that we have no control over; for example, your microblading aftercare, or how your skin heals and retains pigment.
WILL THEY FADE?
Color intensity will be darker immediately after the procedure but this will subside and become softer as the skin heals. Over time they fade, however it varies depending on the persons’ skin type, lifestyle, and environment.
HOW DO YOU CHOOSE A SHAPE?
We choose a shape together according to your face structure and your personal preference.
HOW DO YOU CHOOSE THE COLOR?
I have a huge variety of colors. Prior to starting the procedure, we will choose the color that is perfect for you.
CAN I HAVE THIS PROCEDURE DONE WHEN PREGNANT?
Unfortunately not while you’re pregnant or breast feeding.
WHAT IS DIFFERENT ABOUT TATTOOING EYEBROWS AND MICROBLADING?
There are several differences:
-.Tattooed eyebrows don’t look nearly as natural as microbladed eyebrows.
-.Microbladed brows fade out naturally whereas tattooed eyebrows overtime may change to a bluish greenish color.
-Tattooing is permanent and microblading is semi permanent which is great since eye brow trends are always changing!
